On 23^rd march 2024 ,our college organized its 31^st college day & sports meet, NMY Pharma Nexus-2024. Sports day for first week from 18.03.2024 to 22.03.2024.The Mr.S.Ramachandran M.Pharm., Drug Inspector,Tenkasi. And Dr.R.Krishnakumar MS.,(Gen surg) Shanthi Nikethan Nursing Home, Shenkottai was the chief guest of the event. A large temporary sitting area was constructed for the parents & students to enjoy the day. Students of various department participated in the sports day & college day.

Student competed against one another in various sports events like 100,200 metres running race, Kho-Kho, Kabaadi, volley ball, cricket, tug of war,etc. and various cultural activities. Our chairman & chief guest distributed prizes to the participants.The management & principal congrats the students for their excellent performance.

Faculty Development Program (FDP) was organized by Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava Institution, Tenkasi. The FDP was organized for one day (09.03.2024), under Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme. About 50 faculty members are actively participated and gained useful information from all the session.

International Women’s Day Celebration was held in the auditorium of our college building on 8th march 2024. The purpose of celebrating women’s day was Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. At the outset of program Principal, Dr.M.Fatima Rose gave a short speech on women’s day.

On the day, we have organized many competition. Our D.Pharm & B.Pharm students did a speech contest & poster presentation on women empowerment like protection of women, the need of women’s education. The audience were encouraged by our students & expecting like this event in near future.

The purpose of organizing a debate on such occasion is not just to observe the day but also to create awareness amongst the students & also with the target of reaching the parents & people in the community at large through the students.

Congratulation to our College students for being placed in Apex Laboratory Pvt. Ltd, Chennai.

Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff is regarded as India’s founder of pharmacy. He attained this distinction as a result of his accomplishments, which included steering India’s pharmaceutical sector and educational system in the proper direction. Furthermore, despite the fact that he was not even a professional pharmacist, he had a huge influence on the pharmaceutical sector.

Our Principal Dr. M. Fatima Rose received AVRS Associate Fellow Award on 2nd March 2024 issued from Antiviral Research Society.

Our college had organized an Industrial visit on 29 Feb 2024 to Kerala state Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. located in Alappzha, Kerala for the students of 3rd B.Pharmacy.

On 28th Feb 2024 Sri Ram Nallamani Yadava College of Pharmacy , Tenkasi. Successfully completed the event of Tree plantation under the NSS at college campus. Trees are the foremost source for producing the oxygen in environment, they helps to seduce the level of CO₂. As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting the trees is become one of the most important aspects today. Principal was asked to explain to the students the importance of different tree that were planted.

All were happy and experience proud after the tree plantation event was finished because it really feels great to do positive for nature.
